How To Complete A Chipboard Word Book

I love these chipboard word books! You can quickly have a fun little memory book for any ocassion or of someone special. I have covered these books with paper using two different adhesives: mod podge decoupage glue or rubber cement. The biggest difference between the two - mod podge is a wet adhesive that you apply to either the chipboard page or the backside of the paper and the rubber cement is a much dryer adhesive that you apply to both the chipboard page and the backside of the paper. I like the rubber cement best but I also like to use the mod podge as a sealer to cover the entire page after I get the photos added - this will keep your photos protected from finger prints and keep them very secure. Once you get the hang of it one of these books can be completed in an evening - so get your supplies together and put together a scrapbook in no time!

Supplies: chipboard book (order from http://www.tennesseecraftingcompany.com/), adhesive - either mod podge and/or rubber cement, xacto knife, glass or self-healing cutting mat, sharp scissors, sanding block

Once you get a little practice in you can have a book covered in a couple of hours if you have your papers chosen for each page. You will want to choose papers that coordinate well but that are different so each letter shows up well. Don't forget you need paper for both the front and back of each page. I prefer to use an xacto knife on a glass mat and use the chipboard page as my guide (be careful not to cut into the chipboard). If you do not have an xacto knife then trace and cut. To make the process fast - choose each paper for each page and then do all your cutting - then you are ready to glue down all the pieces. Keep in mind when gluing - mod podge needs drying time & if you will let one side completely dry before gluing the other side you can prevent alot of the warping that can happen with mod podge glue. Working with rubber cement will go alot faster because it dries very quickly - but you will use alot of glue since you will be applying it to both the paper and the chipboard piece. Once both pieces have dried then carefully lay the paper onto the chipboard page. I use one of the longest edges to match it and then carefully lay the rest of the piece down - once it adheres rubber cement is pretty permanent so try to get it matched before applying. If you have some cardboard showing that is fine - just ink the edges or if you have paper showing just use scissors to trim or you can sand it to remove the excess. I also check to make sure that all the edges are glued and if they are not then I will add a touch of glue (one that dries clear such as Tombow Mono) where needed. You want all your edges to be completely glued down so they don't start peeling off over time. I also like to use the sanding block on all the edges to get a "shabby chic" look and to also help blend the paper into the chipboard. I then decide on which photos go on which pages and glue those down - you can use your favorite adhesive for this or mod podge. You will also want to do all of your journaling and any other "flat" embellishments such as stickers or rub-ons. Once everything has been added then you can seal all pages with a layer of mod podge glue. After this has dried feel free to add any 3-D embellishments, ribbon, etc. to the book.

Here are samples of some of the books you can order! If you think of a name - we can create a chipboard book for it (no obscene words please). Of course BABY is the perfect book for a brag book or a gift album for a new mom, GO VOLS (below) or any other mascot or team name is perfect for showing your school spirit, perfect theme books for any special activity or place - such as the SLIDE album, & of course, you can't go wrong with a child's name or a pet's name! These albums are in plain chipboard (brown) and come with 2 book rings to hold your book together. The blank chipboard is perfect for painting or covering with scrapbook paper using decoupage glue. It is recommended that you limit your word choice to 7 letters. If you have a name with 8-9 letters it would work but keep in mind the more letters the closer together they will be and so they may not be as distinctive as the samples shown. You should receive your album(s) in about 2.5 weeks after completing your purchase. With each order you will get a list of my pointers to help you get the cutest results when using decoupage glue. Click here to start ordering now!

These make perfect little scrapbooks - they are quick & easy (each took me less than 4 hours to complete), perfect for using up scrap paper & embellishments, are great to carry with you as a brag book because the decoupage glue works as a protectant for fingerprints, and they are just the cutest things ever!

Below are more pages from my SLIDE book. I had as much fun creating this album as I did watching the kids come down the slide that day. What a great way to keep those special memories preserved.

What Inspires You?

I love patterned papers because they can inspire your design especially when you have no idea what you want to do. Each of these examples can be found on My Scrapbook Pages & Cards link. I love being surrounded by my creations so I have made a decoupaged "C" for my craft room which reminds me to Celebrate Life and Create! My scrapbook page is of my family at Cracker Barrell a few Easter Sundays ago. Because of the paper colors and where the photos were taken I decided to have them printed in sepia tones so the page looks vintage (I especially love the one of my dad playing checkers with his grandson). My cards were all inspired by papers that I had on hand. I have used some great techniques also - embossing with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (+ I used colored pencils and watercolor pens on top of the enamel), embossed a stamped design with clear micro beads, and layered both stamped flowers & silk flowers to compliment a patterned paper. For closeups of these cards + more detailed how-tos please go to the link above.

Here is another group of paper crafting ideas that was inspired by a patterned paper that I just bought from My Mind's Eye. I decoupaged the metal tins, stacked them and added some matching duiponi silk ribbon to tie them together. I love the layers on the card and since 2 patterns were not enough I took one of the patterns and stamped a harlequin pattern with coordinating ink and instantly I had 3 different patterns to use. I scraped the edges with a letter opener (you know the ones - the round/oval ones given out as promotions that have a metal cutting blade in the center). After scraping the edges to create a rough edge I then curled the edges to show the other side of the paper which was a solid dark salmon. I used the same paper to mat the stamped images that had been colored with watercolor pencils. For the little gift tag I stamped "Happy Birthday" in a coordinated color on white and then cut out around the sentiment. I used foam squares to adhere it to the polka dot paper so that it is raised slightly. I also needed a little embellishment and wanted to use a heart but I did not have the right color so I used Staz-On Ink (that was close to the salmon color) to ink the edge of a metal heart brad and then used some of the paper to decoupage onto the brad.

Valentine's Gift Ideas

Here are some great gift ideas in time for Valentine's but they could also be used for any ocassion. Flowers and hearts are always in season! I used the same inks (Ranger Distress) for both of these: Worn Lipstick (pink), Spiced Marmalade (orange), and Fired Brick (red). On the gable box I used the clear flourish stamps from Autumn Leaves & for the bag topper I used Paper Salon's Ribbon Stamp Set. I added a cardstock band around the gable box & then layered 2 silk flowers with a gem brad. For the treat bag I took a simple pink chipboard heart and punched 2 holes into the center of it and tied a piece of red ric-rac into a knot onto the front and then used a glue dot to attach to the front of the topper. I stapled the topper to the bag. I also used my scissors to cut around the ric-rac stamped image on the front for a decorative edge. Both of these were very simple and make a wonderful presentation of your gift.

I also love the clear heart boxes for candy. The candy is the decoration. Just add a ribbon and a chipboard heart or tag and it is ready to go - just be sure and secure the top to the bottom with red-line double-sided tape in a few spots to secure the contents. The metal tins also make a great gift - just add a scalloped or round sentiment on top and it is ready to give. These would be great gifts for a teacher or friend.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day. I am always excited during this time because it is also my anniversary (14 years!!) so it is extra special for me. Happy Valentine's Day!

I love these scrapbook pages of my niece!

I just had to post these pages I just completed of my niece. I never know what she is going to do next - or what she will be wearing while doing it. In these pics I took she was having fun in her cowboy boots and hat while we were camping. A little later she decided she wanted to go swimming too so she put on her bathing suit with her boots and hat. Like I said, one never knows what she will come up with next. I just make sure I have my camera ready to go! I know one thing - I sometimes long for my childhood days so maybe I could be more like her!

My Sweet Sugar!

Some of you may know my little Cocker Spaniel from my store. She was my best & most loyal employee (not to mention cheapest!). It didn't really matter whether she had to go into work, go camping, or even go to the vet. As long as she was with me she was a happy girl. She was my shadow when I was at home and once she knew where I was she would plop down and make herself comfortable, at least until I moved to another room. If she looked up and I wasn't there she would come looking through the whole house until she found me. I always wondered how many times she wondered through the house when I wasn't there before she gave up. She was always the same - very low key - and always so sweet. Even when a customer's toddler had her cornered at the store trying to poke her with keys she only looked up at me with those big brown eyes pleading for help. The only time I ever saw her try to bite someone was that last morning while I was holding her at the vet's office. Eddie wanted to pet her but she was in so much pain and so afraid that he was going to take her from me she did bite down on his hand several times, never meaning to actually hurt him but letting him know she was not going anywhere.
She was over 15 and she had many health problems - her heart, cushings disease, allergies, arthritis - and was on so much medicine - that we really thought she wouldn't make it to 2008. But she did - all the way to January 16th when we finally had to make that big decision. We thought it would be so hard but it wasn't. When they are in such pain it is a very easy decision to make. What is hard are the weeks and months afterward when you miss that unconditional love and support that they are so good at giving.
One thing that helped me the day I got home from the vet was that I had this wonderful little 6x6 scrapbook of just her - every picture I had ever taken of her. If you have never created a mini scrapbook you may want to think about it. You can complete them much faster than a traditional-sized scrapbook. And don't let the size fool you - the memories shared are just as wonderful. Even if you are not a scrapbooker why not put a small photo album together of your favorite pets! It is much better than trying to find photos thrown in a box. Sugar was much loved and will be very missed.

Handmade Card Sets Make a Great Gift!

If you have tons of stamps & inks & you love to make cards why not create a set of all-occassion cards to give as a gift? I created this set for a Christmas gift which includes Happy Birthday, Thank You & Get Well. This would also make a wonderful & thoughtful birthday or thank you gift for someone special. The recipient will have beautiful handmade cards ready to send when an ocassion arises. I used a plastic box that was just the right size for an A2-sized card & had room for 10 cards + envelopes. You could also create a hand-stamped band to go around the box that coordinates with the cards for a beautiful gift. I used a simple ribbon + the following products: Paper Salon Tailered Tin Clear Stamps (fall), Sugarloaf Morsels Mini Sentiments Set, Brilliance Dew Drop inks, Marvy Scalloped Circle Punch, and Paper Salon papers. This simple design could be altered with various materials: use ribbon in place of the strip of pattern paper, use a silk flower in place of the scalloped punch. In fact, I did re-create this same design for my Christmas cards (shown in another post).

Don't want to create this set yourself? Then I can make it for you. Just check out my Ebay store to order this entire set of cards & envelopes in a plastic box tied with ribbon. The inks used have a shimmery quality that are just beautiful & elegant. The set will include 5 Happy Birthday, 2 Thank You, 2 Just Because & 1 Get Well.

My Christmas Cards

I love the time that I get to spend scrapbooking or making cards. I love the entire creative process so I really enjoyed the rainy Saturday night a few weeks ago spent making my Christmas Cards. A friend and I stayed up until 4am just scrapbooking & cardmaking. She is new to the hobby and is making her first scrapbook. After seeing my cards she is also excited about getting started stamping. I knew which stamp set I wanted to use for my cards (Stampendous) and I had an idea of what I wanted the colors & style to be - it was just a matter of getting it all to work together. Do you ever find yourself thinking about an idea for a scrapbook page or for a card while driving or while going through your day? Many times I can work alot of things out in my head before I ever sit down to actually work on the project. Sometimes the idea does not work but many times it does - or at least a variation of the idea. In this case my idea worked pretty well so putting the card together went pretty fast. I hope by sharing my Christmas card with you that it will inspire you to also Do It Yourself - it isn't too late! In fact, after creating this card I also created another version using different papers with less stamping. I actually think it turned out better than my card & you can purchase it today - in time to make your cards for this year! Just look for the kit in my Ebay Store. It comes with everything you need to create 20 cards including the stamps, paper, inks, envelopes, and more! Need to make more? I also can sell you an additional kit to make 14 more. This kit makes a beautiful card with shimmery cardstock. The stamp set also includes "Merry Christmas" for the inside of the card. Don't worry about getting them in time - I give you a Free Priority Shipping Upgrade if you spend at least $15. Spend $50 and get your entire order shipped Priority Mail for FREE.

New to making cards like my friend is? Here is the process & the products that I used to create my card. Using a beautiful striped wrapping paper as my inspiration for the colors I chose - green & reds with gold & lime green & white - I pulled out all my ink pads in these colors and stamped them on scrap paper to decide which inks would be used. I ended up using several Brilliance inks (for a pearlescent effect) and VersaMagic (chalk) inks (for a matte effect). I used the Stampendous Open Tree Stamp Set & used nearly every tree that was in the set + I used one of the flourishes from my Autumn Leaves flourish set (the gold swirls on the ground). I just stamped different tree designs in different colors on white to create a forest using the colors I had chosen. I then matched some red & green cardstock to use for the card base & the mat around the stamped image. I found red twine also to use. I had some Imagination Project square coasters that are perfect for cards & decided to incorporate those. I brayered Distress Ink in Shabby Shutters over the entire coaster & then stamped one of my favorite trees from the set. I chose a word from another set "Peace". I also colored in the stamped tree to create a more dramatic effect & I inked the coaster's edge in red to make it more dimensional. I added foam tape behind the coaster to raise it and give it an even more dimensional effect.

Some pointers: Remember to plan for your inside sentiment too. If you have a stamp then you can stamp it after the card base is cut, scored, and folded. If you do not have a stamp for the inside then type a sentiment on your computer and print before cutting the cards. I keep a word file on my computer that all I have to do is re-type the sentiment twice & print on an 8.5x11 cardstock sheet so that when it is cut in half and then folded the sentiments are exactly where they need to be. When adding twine across the card plan ahead - if you have several layers on top of the card base wrap the ends of the twine under one of the layers and tape each end, then glue the piece to the card base, this will secure the ends & hide them very well. Add to your focal point by taking a small piece of twine and tying it into a knot. Ink the edges of the card pieces to give more dimension - either use a coordinating color which will add more emphasis, use a matching color (as I did) to create unity, or use a distressing color such as brown to create an aged effect. Using a pearlescent ink such as Brilliance will also add to the card so consider your inks when you are deciding on the design. I wanted both sparkly & matte inks so that my trees were all different even though some are in the same color family.

REMINDING MYSELF - THE REASON FOR CHRISTMAS

I have always loved this time of year & I used to always get caught up in all the hoopla but this year I am just more thankful about what I have. I am trying to keep it more about family & friends & more importantly the Reason for the Season. I really feel that even amidst all of the Christmas songs, Christmas movies & the bombardment of shopping ads coming at us that this really needs to be a time of reflection and remembering why we celebrate during this time. Last year during this time my father-in-law was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and though I had already put up my Christmas trees (yes, I admit I have more than 1 tree!) they never got decorated. I ended up putting all of my decorations back in storage & just left the trees up till after the holidays. My father-in-law did not get to come home and it was a devistating time for my husband as he is an only child and had to make all decisions himself. Between the 2 of us we were always there during visiting hours in CCU while also handling other personal issues that had come to light after his father's hospitalization. We were thrown into planning his funeral and I was given the task of contacting all of his family, many of whom I had never met. We were thrown into a situation that I don't think anyone is ready for but we just asked God for the strength to get through it and somehow we did. This year things are better. My mother-in-law is much better but I know this will be such a hard time for her - it was my father-in-law's favorite time - he was like a kid when it came time to open his presents! My gifts this year will be more about remembering the past than more monetary gifts. I plan to create mini scrapbooks for my family of various subjects: of course, one about my father-in-law, recipe scrapbooks for my mom & sister that have all of our family favorites including past-down recipes from my grandmother, mini brag books of my neice & nephew to give to the grandparents (and keep one for myself!). I will also be making cookies & candy & enjoying my 2nd love - cooking (after scrapbooking). I plan to avoid the Christmas shopping rush as much as possible and just enjoy time with my family & friends & be thankful for what I have and all of the blessings that God has given me. I love this quote because I have so much faith in God and do believe that everyday is a gift (author is unknown):

To believe is to know that every day is a new beginning.
It is to trust that miracles happen, and dreams really do come true.
To believe is to know we are not alone,
That life is a gift and this is our time to cherish it.
To believe is to know that wonderful surprises are just waiting to happen,
And all our hopes and dreams are within reach.
If only we believe.

Merry Christmas, Pam

HOLIDAY GIFT BASKETS

I created this one-of-a-kind basket using a handmade basket I found at the Goodwill store. I took different strips of paper in reds & greens (most of it is either Basic Grey or Cosmo Cricket) and decoupaged all the sections of the basket.

For the very first time I used the Mod Podge Sparkle Decoupage Glue and I loved it! It added just a touch of glitter but was not clumpy. I also used Sanford Grippit Paper Cement and I was really impressed with it. It was the perfect glue for adhering paper to wood that was slightly rough. I had this bottle in my stash and have probably had it for many years - it had not dried up and it did what it said - the paper did not wrinkle. It is also safe for photos and scrapbooking applications. I just hope they still make it because I will buy more of this glue as it was perfect for this type of application! Just remember when decoupaging or applying paper you want to use an adhesive that will dry clear and dry non-tacky. This way you wont have to worry about excess glue on your project. That is why I love Mod Podge - it holds very well but it is not sticky and works not only as the glue but the sealer to protect your finished project.

I created this basket for the Signature Chefs Auction in Knoxville to benefit March of Dimes. This became a 'Holiday Bags & Tags' basket and contained punches, stamps, inks, treat bags, instructions - everything anyone would need to make their own holiday tags & treat bags. I will be offering unique holiday gift baskets & buckets in my store for those special people on your holiday gift list - I can even personalize it for you - just email me so we can discuss it. Prices will start at $8-$10 for a small bucket (that you can fill with goodies - similar to the Boo Bucket) or if you want me to complete an entire basket - you decide what you want to spend, what theme you want for the basket & let me create a one-of-a-kind basket for you! For the crafter on your list I offer the following baskets: Beginning Scrapbooker, Beginning Stamper, Making Treat Bags & Tags, Latest & Greatest Scrapbook or Stamping Products or choose from a specific technique such as Dry Embossing, Heat Embossing, Chalking, Distressing, and more! If you want a basket that anyone would enjoy I can also offer baskets that contain candles, gourmet foods, beginning cooking, jewelry-lovers, bath & body - you just let me know what the recipient enjoys and I will not only customize the contents but also design and create the unique basket or bucket!

How Did I Do That? Boo Bucket

Wondering how I stamped this small metal bucket? I chose a clear stamp (they are more flexible) that had a simple design (spider web) & several tiny stamps - a bat, a spider, and "boo". I had a thick (about 1/2") foam stamping mat that was much larger than it needed to be so I cut a piece of it to create a foam "block". Using repositionable tape I adhered the spider web stamp to the foam block. The foam block was flexible so that I could conform it to the curve of the bucket. I used Staz-On ink which will dry on metal or glass. When stamping on a slick surface the stamp can easily slide so just keep your stamp as steady as possible as you stamp. I used an acrylic block for the small stamps & it was fairly easy. I did need to rock the images slightly (from left to right since I am right handed) to get the entire design on the curved bucket. Keep in mind you will not get a perfectly stamped image - there will be some sliding + rocking it does not mean you will get the entire image stamped but for this type of design it did not matter at all. It still turned out soooo cute! It will take some practice so start out small & learn as you go - besides, you can always decoupage the bucket with paper or paint it completely if you totally mess it up. I did avoid stamping over the ridges in the bucket - that is where the ribbon came in handy. Add a cute little tag and you have a great little treat bucket for your little ghosts and gobblins or for friends & co-workers!

Products used: Staz-On Ink, Marvy Super Oval Scalloped Punch, Tsukineko Glue Pad, 1/16" Hole Punch, Paper Salon Fall Stamp Set, "Boo" from Stamps By Judith, Alphabet by River City Rubber Works, and Art Institute Glitter.

Right now these items are available in my Ebay Store and includes stamps from Paper Salon, Stampendous, & Autumn Leaves + the inks and adhesives needed to complete your projects. I am also now offering containers that can be used with scrapbook and stamping products to create one-of-a-kind gifts, gift packaging, home decor and more! You will find metal tins, gusseted clear bags, clear card boxes, gable boxes, take-out boxes, and clear paint cans. I am also adding all items to my Online Store (which is also being updated to serve you better) and they should be available in the coming weeks.

If you live in the Roane County area and are interested in a workshop designed around you and your crafter friends' interests then please Email Me so we can get it set up! Want to learn a new technique? Want to learn about a new product? In the coming days I will give you some projects to pick from on this blog. That way you can choose what you and your friends want to learn and we can design the workshop around what you want to learn while having a fun time being creative!

This Blessings Card Set was created using the Paper Salon Fall set, Marvy Clever Lever Round Scalloped Punch, and Brilliance Dew Drop inks (if you can't tell from the photo they have a shimmer that adds a beautiful elegance to the card design). By creating a set of handmade cards & displaying them in a clear box with a matching band and tag you have a wonderful gift for someone on your gift list. You could even personalize these even more by adding the recipient's monogram on the cards to be used as thank you's and personal note cards.

This fall bag is so simple to make using the Stampendous Fall stamp set, Distress Ink, Cardstock, Raffia, and a small gusseted bag (+ don't forget the pistachios!). What a great little fall gift for that special teacher or co-worker just to say Thanks! You can find all of these containers in my Ebay Store.

There are so many products and tools on the market (and not all are expensive) that you can use to enhance the products you already have. Not only am I an avid scrapbooker & cardmaker but I have always loved personalizing any gifts that I give so I have begun to use my huge supply of paper, stickers, and more for other things: personalized gifts, gift wrapping, home decor, ... If you are like me you have a huge amount of paper and embellishments so why not use what you have instead of buying more?

Want to use your stamps more? Let me show you some easy projects for your stamps as well as a wonderful space-saving stamp storage solution! Have a tool you purchased but do not know how to use it? If it is a tool I have or can get I will be glad to show you and explain what I know. Just love to have a little creative 'me' time? Then I can provide that too by providing the ideas, the materials and the products needed to create some fun and useful projects.

I really enjoyed meeting some wonderful scrappers and stampers at the Memory Magic event in Oak Ridge a few weeks ago. Many of you were interested in scheduling a workshop and I have already scheduled several for this month. The holidays are fast approaching so please email me if you would like to plan a workshop in the near future. I can plan to come to your workplace for a lunch/craft session, your church, home, or any safe, roomy place that will work. A chair and about 3' of table space per person will be helpful but I can provide tv trays if needed. I will not only bring the make-and-take materials but I will also have products on hand for purchase + I offer catalog purchases if you just have to have more paper and embellishments from your favorite manufacturers such as Basic Grey, Fancy Pants, and more! I will also have an online store available for shopping 24/7. This blog will also become a resource for more project ideas and samples of what the products can do so check back to the blog often.

What A Fun Time at Memory Magic!

Whew, what a fast-paced weekend. I hope everyone had as much fun as it looked - cropping, shopping, talking to old friends & meeting new ones. I wish I could get out of my booth more but thanks to my friend, Dawn, I at least got to mingle a little on Saturday. I enjoyed meeting the new vendors but I really enjoyed meeting new scrappers & cardmakers! You guys really are the best. Thanks to all the positive comments about the booth - I even heard some say mine was the best-looking booth there! When you work hard planning the booth it sure feels good when you hear comments like that. If you have some suggestions for next year please let me know. I am there for you guys so I want to hear from you so I can make it better every year. I have to run now - taking a few days vacation (tomorrow is my birthday!) camping on the lake - but will be working on new stuff for the blog so check back soon. I will be posting all the samples that you saw at the show as well as a list of products used & some how-to pointers/instructions. I will also be adding the products to my new store to be unveiled in the next few weeks. Well, gotta go & rest but will talk again soon! Pam

2007 MEMORY MAGIC, Oak Ridge, TN

Well, it is time again to join fellow scrappers from East Tennessee & spend time scrapbooking, shopping & taking great classes! I will be setting up again this year and am really looking forward to it. The plans for my booth is all about DOING IT YOURSELF! Love those wonderful designer embellishments that are on the market? Don't like the price tag? Just love being creative? Then I can help you create your own wonderful embellishments for your pages or cards. Right now the trend is over the top: glittery, sparkly, metallic, shiny, silky - if you can imagine it then you can do it yourself with the great products that will be available in my booth. I have tried all the products that I carry so I can help you in selecting the right products for your projects. I will also have lots of samples of scrapbooking, cardmaking, storage, gift giving, and just fun stuff to help get your creative juices going. Those ideas will be posted on my website with How-Tos & Product Information that you can access at any time after the event so you can DIY!

Stop by the Tennessee Crafting Co. booth and plan to have some fun!

For more information and sign-ups for classes and crops check out the official Memory Magic website: http://www.cortn.org/recreation/memory_magic/mmexhibitor.html. [Yes, that is me in the middle photo on the exhibitor page! ]

I would love to hear from you about past Memory Magic events or post here after this year's event to let other people know how much fun you had!

Hope to see you there!

WELCOME!

Everybody is doing it but I just cannot seem to get my act together & blog. So here goes my 2nd try at it. I checked out several scrapbooker's blogs and it seems 'blogger' is very popular. I want to be among friends so I decided to join. I plan to post paper crafting projects that I have done & I hope that it inspires anyone out there wanting to take a peek. I have always loved crafts & when I discovered scrapbooking it was like all those different crafts I had dabbled in finally had a home where I could showcase them - painting, stamping, decoupage, watercolors, and anything I could think of. I have so much paper so right now I am really into anything paper crafting - especially decoupage - tin buckets, yard-sale finds, wood pieces, ... I hope you visit often & hope you enjoy the projects.
